A few photographic memories for my friends

Dartmouth Regatta is the highlight of the year for Jill and for me. It gets us away from London for a couple of weeks and lets us spend time in our favourite place; surrounded by our best friends in a beautiful part of the country that New Labour haven't so far managed to contaminate.

Ok, so the weather wasn't fantastic this year but who gives a damn when the company and the wines are so good, not to mention the highlight of the international yacht racing calendar - the PISS.

Following up on the Met Office's earlier forecast of a 'barbecue summer' with record temperatures, we can only hope their prediction of an 'Indian summer' is more accurate. If so, we should get more weekends afloat with the added bonus of street parking sans CEOs. But if this doesn't materialise, I hope these photographic memories help to get you through the winter.

There are also a couple of videos.
